Difference between Punks and "punk3rs"

Punks don't say their punk, Punk3rs do.

Punks don't shop at Hot Topic, punk3rs do

Punks don't give a fuck, but Punk3rs do

Punks don't try to impress, but Punk3rs do.

Punks don't try hard to be punk, punk3rs do

Punks don't listen to modern Green Day, punk3rs do

Punks who wear Misfits shirts actually listen to them and are real fans, but Punk3rs wear them because they like the skull

Punks know who Ian Mackaye is, but punk3rs don't

Punks have their own ideals, punk3rs do whatever's popular like mindless sheep

Punks do what they want, punk3rs do what they're told

Punks know what Anarchy really is, punk3rs see it as a cool circled A

Being a Punk is being part of a revolution for change, social change, and being a punk3r is trying to look cool and impress people, and being socially accepted.

That is all.

Top 15 Punk Frontmen Of All Time

What makes a good punk frontman? That could be many things since punk can be  very out there as a genre. A good frontman in my opinion should be unique, memorable, have a certain presence, and or a message they are trying to send with their lyrics.
The following is a list of who we at Punk Opinion think are the top 15 punk frontmen of all time.

1. Jello Biafra- Dead Kennedys

2.Glenn Danzig- The Misfits, SamHain

3. Ian MacKaye- Minor Threat, Fugazi, Embrace

4. Kieth Morris- Black Flag, OFF!, Circle Jerks

5. Joe Strummer- The Clash

6. Greg Gaffin- Bad Religion

7. Henry Rollins- Black Flag

8. Joey Ramone- The Ramones

9. David Vanian- The Damned

10. Tim Armstrong- Operation Ivy, Rancid

11. GG Allin- The Murder Junkies, Scumfuc

12. Chris #2- Anti Flag

13. H.R.- Bad Brains

14. Mark Unseen- The Unseen

15. Steve Ignorant- Crass

So that is our list. We have guys that are straight up crazy and emotional with their music, guys who are dark and bad-ass, guys who have very meaningful lyrics, and even a man who made great music, while getting naked on stage.
And if those aren't the qualities of a good punk rock frontman, then I don't know what is.
